Complete Leukocyte Medium /w Kit – 500 ML

Description

Complete Leukocyte Medium is comprised of 500 ml basal medium with growth factor supplement designed for culture of leukocytes. It was tested and optimized with culture of human and animal leukocytes in vitro. It is formulated for use with 5% CO₂ and 95% air in a humidified incubator.

The medium consists of 500 ml of basal medium (containing essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors, trace minerals), supplemented with cell growth supplement, antibiotics, and fetal bovine serum.

Leukocyte Medium Supplement Kit, Cat No. M3366-Kit includes:

- 5.0 ML L-Glutamine (100x)
- 5.0 ML Penicillin-Streptomycin
- 50.0 ML FBS

*Before use, add M3366-Kit to 500ml basal medium.

Storage Condition

Store the basal medium at 2-8°C. Store cell growth supplement, fetal bovine serum (FBS) and antibiotics at -20°C. The complete cell culture medium with Supplement Kit can be kept in 4°C for two months. Protect from light.

Note: To assure sterility after 2 weeks or if there is concern that sterility was compromised during the supplementation process, the prepared medium may be refiltered with a 0.2 um filter.
